Professions Unit vocabulary



The following vocabulary belongs to the unit about Professions, study the words and their meaning for a short quiz on 14 November 2019.



1. profession- a paid occupation ,one that involves prolonged training and qualification.

2. aptitude- a natural tendency to do something.

3. attitude- a settle way of thinking or feeling about something or someone.

4. income- money received on a regular basis.

5. career- an occupation undertaken for a significant period of time.

6. average- number expressing the central or typical value.

7. skill- the ability to do something well.

8. salary- a fixed regular payment.

9- CEO- chief executive officer, the highest manager.

10- human resources manager- in charge of hiring people.

 Good evening students, As previously discussed, I want you to research on the use of facial gestures in order to conduct investigations (police,psychologically,etc.) Be ready to report: * Title of investigation * How the study of facial gestures help on the investigation? 7th grade: Sensory Language and Brainstorming

Dear 7th graders: We have been discussing the topic of Sensory Language and Brainstorming. As a summary and reminder : Sensory Language - is a language that connects to the five senses(sight,sound,smell,taste,touch) to create an image or description.
