Text Structure homework 12th grades (all)




The following homework has a 30 points value.

1. Gather a variety of textbooks:science,social studies,math,etc. (5pts)
2.Skim the books to find an example of each kind of text structure. (5 pts.)

Cause and effect
Problem and solution           10 pts.
Examples
Chronological order

3.Discuss why each text structure is suited to the topic. (5pts.)
4. Share list of books you used on your homework. (5pts.)


Homework will be turned in on next class meeting.

It can be computer or clean hand written. 8 x 11" paper.

The following test will be turned in on 5th march 2020:  I .Read the following story and give five(5) examples of cause and effect.  Good evening students, As previously discussed, I want you to research on the use of facial gestures in order to conduct investigations (police,psychologically,etc.) Be ready to report: * Title of investigation * How the study of facial gestures help on the investigation? 7th grade: Sensory Language and Brainstorming

Dear 7th graders: We have been discussing the topic of Sensory Language and Brainstorming. As a summary and reminder : Sensory Language - is a language that connects to the five senses(sight,sound,smell,taste,touch) to create an image or description. Task #1: You will write five sentences using each sensory image. (50 pts.)  Examples: 1. Manuel likes big Red apples. (visual) 2. Stella's hair is very soft. (tactile) 3.
